Wales begins their Junior Eurovision search!

We previously reported on the Junior Eurovision plans of debut nation Kazakhstan, but now we know more about the other debut nation of this year! More news has come out from Wales who will be using a national final to select their Junior Eurovision act.

Over the last few months, the broadcaster S4C alongside Rondo Media Productions have been searching the nation far and wide to find the young stars that will take part in the national selection. From the open auditions held, the broadcaster will select 20 performers who will move onto the next stage where the participants will go through a mentoring process.

The panel of mentors includes Connie Fisher, Stifyn Parri and Tara Bethan. The panel will choose the best six participants to continue through to the live final which will be in Llandudno on Tuesday the 9th of October, where the public will then be able to vote for their winner.

The show, titled Chwilio am Seren will begin airing on the 18th of September with the final three weeks later.
